'Orphan Black' season 2 episode 7 preview: A rehab confession and family reunion

Like every previous episode of "Orphan Black," there is a lot coming up in next week's episode, 2x07, "Knowledge of Causes, and Secret Motion of Things." Just check out the promo BBC America released on Saturday, May 24, if you want proof.

The latest episode saw Sarah track down Ethan Duncan and find Mrs. S already there. Ethan told Sarah that Dr. Leekie killed Rachel's mother, Susan, and he's why he's in hiding. The Duncans were going to expose everything, but Dr. Leekie found out and refused to let them raise Rachel. Meanwhile, Helena's time with Jesse in a bar was cut short when she was arrested and Mark and Gracie picked her up, telling her they'd take her to her babies.

Elsewhere, Alison ran into Vic the Dick at rehab, and while they kind-of-almost-sort-of bonded, it turns out he's spying on her for Angie, who just won't let any of this go. Also, Scott got a job at Dyad, but when he asked Delphine if whoever they cloned has a female relative, like a niece or daughter, she swore him to secrecy and made him promise not to tell Cosima.

Now, in this next episode, a rehab confidante betrays Alison and threatens to expose the truth about Aynsley's death. She goes into free fall before Family Day, and with Donnie and the kids coming to visit, it's up to the other clones to help her.

The "Knowledge of Causes, and Secret Motion of Things" promo offers a look at what's coming up for Alison, Dr. Leekie, Cosima and Rachel. It looks like this is going to be like season 1's "Variations Under Domestication," where Sarah helped Alison out as she interrogated Donnie while a party was going on upstairs in the soccer mom clone's house.

Instead, this time, Alison seems to make the mistake to once again be honest with Vic after she told him they're clones (though he didn't seem to buy that) and tell him, "My neighbor Aynsley always thought she was better than me. …Then I killed her." Is he going to believe that? Is he going to tell Angie? Well, he might not have the chance to since Felix "may have spiked his tea," leading to him collapsing into a craft room table and ending up covered in glitter. Oh, Vic. That's a good look for you.

Meanwhile, Mrs. S is going to pay Dyad a visit. "I have something you want. It's your missing science," she says. "What is it worth to you?" Elsewhere in Dyad, it doesn't sound like it's going to be all happiness and making crazy science together for Cosima and Delphine. "This is my decision and not yours!" Cosima argues, but Delphine disagrees. "There is no decision, Cosima. You have one way forward, and this is it." That's probably why getting romantically involved is a bad idea for clones and their monitors – and for subjects and their scientists.

Finally, what's going to happen when Ethan and Rachel come face to face? "Hello, Father," she greets him. Will he tell her about Dr. Leekie? Will she believe him?

"Orphan Black" season 2 airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on BBC America. What do you think of the episode 7 "Knowledge of Causes, and Secret Motion of Things" promo?
