'Orphan Black' season 2 casts 'Suits' star Patrick J. Adams in guest spot

Remember when "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams tweeted about how much he loved "Orphan Black" (much like most people did) and hashtagged "#pleasecanigueststar"? Well, it looks like it paid off, as on Tuesday, Dec. 10, Deadline reported that he'll be guest starring in season 2.

Adams will be guest starring as Jesse, "a brave but regular guy" who "lands in a ton of trouble when the clone characters played by Tatiana Maslany enter his life." Could he perhaps romance one of the clones? How exactly does he factor into the clones' lives? Could he be connected to a clone that wasn't introduced in season 1? Will he get in the middle of the upcoming war between Sarah and Rachel? All of that is purely speculation, and so far, we don't even know when his episode will air. (Season 2 premieres April 19, 2014, as was revealed in a very cool, very "Orphan Black" teaser trailer last month.)

Jesse is just one of several new characters coming in season 2, as Michiel Huisman, Peter Outerbridge, and Ari Millen were all previously announced to be joining the cast in the spring. Huisman's Cal is also going to be crossing paths with the clones, while Outerbridge's Hank and Millen's Mark are part of a group that broke away from the Proletheans.

"Orphan Black" season 2 premieres April 19, 2014. Are you looking forward to seeing Patrick J. Adams guest star?
