'Orphan Black' S2: Cosima 'facing death' and Cosima and Delphine's relationship

The countdown to the "Orphan Black" season 2 premiere continues, and with it, so do new Insider videos. BBC America released one looking at the character of Cosima (Tatiana Maslany) on Monday, March 31.

As the first season of "Orphan Black" ended, Cosima was sick and her monitor Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) was at her side. Like Paul (Dylan Bruce), Delphine had fallen for the clone she was watching, and like Paul, her motives are in question in season 2 – especially after you watch this latest Insider video.

"Cosima's our resident geek, but she's not a typical geek," executive producer Graeme Manson explains. "I think she's like the coolest clone. She's kind of a hippie. She's really West Coast. She's extremely smart. She's also a really sensual geek, which I think is great, getting all the geeks feeling sexy." A clip from the new season shows Cosima saying, "My sexuality's not the most interesting thing about me," and it's very likely she's talking to Rachel since she's wearing the same thing she's wearing in the sneak peek of Rachel threatening her.

Meanwhile, Maslany teases of what's coming up for Cosima, "Season 2 picks up with her now facing her mortality. She's facing death and she's facing illness and the degeneration of her body and something very unknown happening inside her."

As for Cosima and Delphine's relationship, it's "ever-evolving," according to the actress. "I don't know exactly where it's ever going to end up. Ultimately, will they stay together? I don't know. There's so much lying from both sides." But even though there is a lot of deception, the actress goes on to say, "there's so much love and attraction. It's romantic and beautiful and complicated."

But Cosima is still reporting to Dr. Leekie (Matt Frewer) and tells him that Cosima is "exactly where [he wants] her." Which side is Delphine on? Who will she choose?

"Orphan Black" season 2 airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on BBC America, beginning April 19. What do you think will happen to Cosima? Do you trust Delphine?
