Ormond Beach food festival returns March 23rd

A lovely place to eat well!
Ormond MainStreet

Did you know that Ormond Beach, Daytona's pretty little sister city, was the home of the first car races in the area back in 1902? They were held on the beaches of Ormond, earning this town the nickname, "The Birthplace of Speed".

Another important fact about Ormond Beach is that today it has some of the best restaurants in Volusia County, if not Florida itself. Find out what I mean at the Taste of Ormond event coming up on Sunday, March 23rd from 4-7pm at The Casements.

Local eateries including Frappes North, Fusion 43, The Grind Gastropub, Lulu’s Oceanside Grill, Theia’s Pastries, Mia Dona, Cakery Creation, Einstein Bros and others will be providing small plate samples and S.R. Perrott will provide wine and beer.

Taste of Ormond will be held under a large tent and promises to be a delicious and enjoyable event! $50 per person will enable guests to eat whatever they desire and taste six wines and 20 beers. There will be raffles and reserved tables are available for sponsors.

The event is a fundraiser for Ormond Beach MainStreet, the local non-profit that has worked since 1996 to grow and enliven Ormond’s Granada Boulevard core area. Tickets for Taste of Ormond are available online or by contacting Ormond MainStreet at (386) 492-2938.
