Orlando Local Music: January 23-29

There are a ton of shows this week featuring Orlando local music, including two different benefit shows. On Saturday, January 28th there is a benefit scheduled to help out Natura Café to keep their doors open and keep alive a place that has supported local Orlando musicians with a place to showcase their talents. On Sunday, January 29th, there is a benefit show at The Shovelhead Lounge featuring many Orlando bands to help out a fellow Orlando musician Paul Kyle and his family as they deal with his cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Monday, January 23rd

The Peacock Room

Orlando band Direct Effect joins several other bands in this Hard-core Punk show. This event is 18+ and tickets are only $3.

This event runs from 3 to 10 PM and is a benefit for Orlando musician Paul Kyle and his family. The show organizers are asking for a $5 donation at the door. More details available here.

With all that to choose from, including two benefit shows, there has got to be something to entice a local Orlando music fan out of the house and out on the town in support of local music and the venues that bring them in to play.
