Orlando bands at Deland Rock and Metal Festival Spring 2014

The Deland Rock and Metal Festival Spring 2014 is slated for Saturday, April 12 at OB’s Restaurant and Lounge. The single-day music festival features over 20 bands playing the music festival on two stages throughout the day.

Local music fans attending the Deland Rock and Metal Festival will get to catch live music from Orlando bands Cover the Sun, Absolon, The Bride Wore Blood, 10,000 Hours, ABDOMEN CANVAS, Thicket, Entombed in the Abyss and Monotheist.

“We’re really excited for the opportunity to play with many bands that range in genre and styles,” said Kris Otero of The Bride Wore Blood. “It’s gonna be a hell of a festival and you can expect some new songs to be performed. Deland, get ready!”

“Absolon is very much looking forward to playing the Deland Rock and Metal Festival for the first time,” said John Colick, Absolon’s manager. “We are surrounded by some awesome bands and you can bet we will be performing a blistering 30 minute set.”

The rest of the bands on the schedule come from all over Florida and include Eroding the Past, Defy The Masses, Fires Eternal, Death With Dignity, From the Embrace, Silenmara, Forgiving Silence, All iN, The Noctambulant, Darkness Rising, Arcsin, Akeldama, Sarcophagi, HECKFIRE and more.

Tickets are a great value at $15 in advance or $18 day of show, with a limited number of $30 VIP tickets on sale for this all ages event. The music starts at noon. OB’s Restaurant and Lounge is located at 1750 North Woodland Blvd. in Deland.
