The 2014 MLB live stream and TV schedule continues on April 7 as several teams are making their home debut, including the New York Yankees. The Yankees and their fans will celebrate Opening Day 2014 with bitter sweet emotions. On one hand they have high hopes for a division title and making the playoffs with all of their off season acquisitions, on the other hand this will be the last season that Derek Jeter will wear the pinstripes in the Bronx.\

According to a USA Today report on April 6, Jeter helped improve his team to a 3-3 record after starting the season 0-2, and climbed the all-time hit list in the process. Jeter passed Paul Molitor for 8th on the all-time hit list after hitting a single to right field yesterday in the Yankees 4-3 win vs. Toronto Sunday.

Jeter now sits at 3,320 total hits, which is only 99 short of Carl Yastrzemski. If the Yankee shortstop remains healthy, he should pass Yastrzemski this summer.

Yankee fans would like nothing more to see Jeter go out as a World Champion, but to do that New York will have to play better than odds makers predict.

New York is tenth over all in the 2014 World Series odds list at 16/1 and the recent struggles with pitching in the Bronx leaves many questions to be answered. However just like last year's Red Sox team that one the Series, you never know what can happen.

Las Vegas odds makers have the Yankees at -155 for today's opener vs Baltimore with the over/under total set at 8.5.

Fans can catch this game on the MLB Network nationally and streaming online through MLB Extra Innings.
