Oriental Residence Bangkok celebrates its new standards for luxury residences (Photos)

Since last January, Oriental Residence Bangkok premiered its first luxury venture, featuring 145 stylish appointed residences in a 32-floor building.

In 2013, the Office of Tourism for Thailand, is forecasting 20.5 million international visitors, generating about $25 billion. The parent company of Oriental Residence Bangkok is banking on these figures.

"There are three things I love about Thailand: the country, the people and the food," said Denver resident Londell Jackson, a recent tourist of Thailand, who is planning his return trip within two years.

Location:

The location is ideal, situated next to Netherland and US embassies and walking distance to train station and Lumpini Park.

"Situated along Wireless Road in the heart of Bangkok's business and embassy district, the property is in a prime location for business travelers," said Paul Siriroj, executive assistant manager of Oriental Residence Bangkok. "For leisure activities, Bangkok's main attractions and shopping areas are just a short taxi ride away."

Customer Service:

Dressed in proper uniform, all staffers are available to please hotel guests for whatever needs may arise during a visit. Trip Advisor's website indicates only one complaint from more than 150 customer reviews.

In fact, hotel management is confident and encourages continual promotion of its hotel property from its guests and visitors. "Our team encourages guests to post pictures of their experiences on various social media channels after their stay and take a look at other traveler's images," Siriroj said. "We have dedicated Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages, which are regularly updated with events, offers and photos so our guests can relieve their experiences at the same time as encouraging others to visit us and posting their recommendations."

This five-star hotel offers a wide range of amenities in the hotel room, making the hotel guest special and important. These amenities include:

Rates for deluxe double start at $170 to $205 for one-bedroom suites. If reserving far in advance, hotel management offers special packages with meals included and excursions. Several guests have bragged about obtaining special deals if rooms ares secured about six months in advance.

Attention to detail indicates to the guests the hotel is giving its first-class service to all visitors. Details include:

  • Great service from security, driver, reception, housekeeping, concierge, doormen
  • Only good brands are used from little things like their cutlery, tea bags etc.
  • Spare roll of tissue paper is covered with fabric

Tip 1: If you write a review on www.tripadvisor.com, the manager is responsive to all comments about the hotel. The link to Trip Advisor is on the hotel's web site, showing guests that hotel management takes its reviews seriously.

Tip 2: Privacy is respected for all guests, both short-term and permanent residents.
