Clutter Accountability Network
Most significant changes in life require a support system made up of positive people who know what you're going through. Getting organized and decluttering are no different - especially if you're overwhelmed by a large amount of stuff or are trying to do a project by yourself.
There is hope and help available.*
The Clutter Accountability Network is launching February 19, 2010 at two locations in Michigan - Ann Arbor and Troy.
What is the Clutter Accountability Network (CAN)?
The Clutter Accountability Network offers twice monthly, 90-minute accountability meetings to help participants set and stick to organizing related goals for their homes or home-based small businesses. This peer-based support system offers a non-judgmental, small-group forum to discuss organizing related challengesand successes. It is facilitated by professional organizers who also provide short topic talks, related handouts and resource documents to help with common clutter and time management issues. Additionally, the Clutter Accountability Network also provides between session "boosts" to keep the momentum going.
When are the Clutter Accountability Network (CAN) meetings held?
Meetings will be held the first and third Friday of each month. (10-11:30 am in Ann Arbor and 9:30 - 11:00am in Troy) starting February 19, 2010. More locations and times in the Southeast Michigan area will be added as necessary. Directions to the Ann Arbor and Troy locations will be sent with registration confirmation.
How much does the Clutter Accountability Network cost?
Fee: $150 includes six 90-minute sessions led by a professional organizer, topic handouts and resource documents, between session "boosts", and a non-judgmental group to focus on organizing issues. The Clutter Accountability Network meetings are on-going throughout the year to allow work on your unique projects and goals.

* To the best of my knowledge, the Clutter Accountability Network is the first in-person, peer-based clutter support group run by professional organizers in Michigan. If you are aware of other support groups in Michigan that focus on clutter, please let me know and I will be happy to include them here.
