Today at the Oregon Sate fair, it’s bracelet day! Brought to you by Comcast, you can get ride bracelets for session 1 (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or session 2 (6 p.m. to 10 p.m.)
In the barn, Guernsey and brown Swiss dairy cow shows begin at 10 a.m. and Shetland, Driving ponies and Draft horse performances are at 1 and 7 p.m.
The Creative Salad From Your Own Garden competition begins at 2 p.m.
Youth ATV training begins at 8 a.m. and runs until 11 a.m.
Get your watermelon on at the Walchi Watermelon Feed at 10 a.m.
How to Divide Bearded Iris Brought to you by Schreiner’s Iris Gardens from 11 a.m. to Noon
Paul Kwitek brings folk, rock and blues from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Carl Solomon brings folk, rock and blues from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
John Standefer, fingerstyle guitarist plays from 4 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.
Tracy Reynolds plays Americana, acoustic and roots from 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.
John Standefer, fingerstyle guitarist plays from 6 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.
Joel Stevens brings jazz and blues sax from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Teens can sing karaoke at the 95.5 Club Energy Teen Zone from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m and again from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Tracy Reynolds shores it up with Americana, acoustic and roots from 7 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
Fair admission prices are:
- Adults 13-64-$7 for one day or $20 for a 3 day pass
- Seniors 65 and over- $3 for one day or $9 for a 3 day pass
- Children 6-12-$3 for 1 day or $9 for a 3 day pass
- Children under 5- free
- Groups of 50 or more-$5 each
- Ride bracelets are $30 per session.
