Sgt. Jeremy Lee Flannery, 35, added his name to the growing list of military men who have been charged with sex crimes and other inappropriate sexual relationships in the last few months.
The charges stem from incidents that allegedly happened in June and July of this year, and were reported to authorities by the girl.
The charges against Flannery include two counts of third-degree sodomy, two counts of sexual misconduct, two counts of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor and one count each of third-degree sex abuse and third-degree rape, according to court documents.
Flannery, an Elgin, Ore., resident, and veteran of the Iraq War, bonded out of the $20,000 bail set by the court.
He will enter a plea in this case on Oct. 8.
