Oregon Ducks football recruiting update, Jan. 23, 2012

With the Chip Kelly fiasco over the weekend, the Oregon Ducks football recruiting world had a big scare. On Monday though, with Kelly back in as the Ducks' head coach, the Oregon recruiting process was back on track.

Kelly, of course, had decided to leave Oregon and head off to the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After the news broke, speculation immediately began on who his replacement would be. With less than two weeks left until National Signing Day, a team without a head coach is a recruiting nightmare. Luckily, Kelly announced in a press release Monday morning that he had turned down the Tampa offer, saying that he has unfinished business left in Eugene.
