The Orange Leaf Yogurt store, 6173 C Glenway Avenue in Cincinnati, is holding a FreeRice contest where the top scorers will win gift certificates. The contest runs from now until April 1.
FreeRice (www.freerice.com) is an award winning online game where you answer questions in many subjects including vocabulary, math, famous quotes, art, science and even SAT prep. Every time you get a correct answer 10 grains of rice are donated to the UN World Food Program, the largest agency fighting world hunger. The rice is paid for by advertisers on the site.
Currently, FreeRice donations are for a school feeding program in Niger, a country that suffered a massive drought and is also hosting refugees from the war in Mali.
The 4 highest scores between now and April 1 will win a five dollar Orange Leaf gift certificate. To play you sign up at FreeRice and to enter the contest email FreeRice username.
Contest flyers are also available at the Cincinnati Glenway store (513-481-0400). Winners can pick up their gift certificate at the Glenway store.
