Orange County St. Patrick's Day Activities

Orange County kicks off its St. Patrick’s Day celebration a little early this year, with the Annual OC Market Place St. Patrick’s Festival scheduled for this Sunday, March 15 at the Orange County Fairgrounds. The bash runs from 10 am to 4 pm, with planned appearances by many Irish musicians and dancers. Admission is $2, and children under 12 are free. For more information, check:

People who want to celebrate in a cozier setting may want to check out one of the county’s many Irish pubs this March 17. A few top spots include:

Durty Nellie’s in Costa Mesa
Hennessey’s Tavern (two locations – in Dana Point and Laguna Beach)
Muldoon’s Dublin Pub and Celtic Bar in Newport Beach
Shamrock Bar and Grill in Newport Beach
