A variety of local restaurants and caterers will present samples of their cuisine at the annual Taste of San Juan fundraiser planned Thursday, Feb. 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at El Adobe De Capistrano Restaurant, 31891 Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. Admission is $20.

The event is hosted by The San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association, an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, which uses proceeds for community events throughout the year, including the 56th Swallows Day Parade in March.

Local Restaurants

Among restaurant participants include Slater’s 50/50, Sun Dried Tomato Café, The Vintage Steakhouse, Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill, San Juan Hills golf Club, Donna B’s Bakery, Cedar Creek Inn, Thai Juan On, El Adobe, Ruby’s Diner and Marie Callendar’s.

There will be a no host bar and El Adobe will honor happy hour prices throughout the evening.

Those attending Taste of San Juan will receive voting ballots to select their favorite restaurants in the following categories: Best Main Course, Best Original Dish, Best appetizer and Best Dessert.

Tickets Available

Advanced tickets may be purchased with cash or check at the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce, 31421 La Matanza St. Tickets also will be sold at the door and credit cards, cash or checks will be accepted.
