Orange County Restaurant Week features 100 restaurants throughout Orange County. The restaurants range from upscale to casual and feature special multi-course menus in three price categories for lunch ($10, $15 and $20) and dinner ($20, $30 and $40).
Not sure where to begin on list of 100? Here are 10 suggestions.
1. Memphis at the Santora, Santa Ana. Comfort food with a Southern accent and contemporary flair. Down Home Gumbo is something to try. Some menu items have a kick. 201 N. Broadway. 714-564-1064.
2. Lulu’s Creperie, Laguna Hills. The place to go for crepes. No surprise. But, the restaurant is well-rounded if crepes aren’t what you are craving. However, think French. 24781 Alicia Pkway East. 949-855-2222.

5. SOL Cocina, Newport Beach. A Mexican restaurant with a Baja twist. Look for creative menu items from tacos to margaritas and more. 251 Pacific Coast Highway. 949-675-9800.

7. Maggiano’s Little Italy, Costa Mesa. Nothing says family like a big Italian meal. The menu has something for everyone. The restaurant is conveniently located by the South Coast Plaza. After a lunch or dinner, you can walk off the meal shopping. 3333 Bristol St. 714-546-9550.
8. Savannah Chop House, Laguna Niguel. Up-scale, warm and inviting. Menu items range includes seafood, chops, and steaks. There’s a definite Southern emphasis. 32441 Golden Lantern. 949-493-7107.
9. Simply Fondue, Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano. Now here’s a fun dining experience. Great for dates or the family. 10. Sundried Tomato Café, San Clemente, Laguna Beach and San Juan Capistrano. The variety of the menu alone is a draw. From its namesake Sundried Tomato Café soup to its salads, sandwiches and main courses.
