Sacramento Republic F.C. (2-3-1) will host the visiting Orange County Blues F.C. (2-4) this Saturday at Hughes Stadium. The Republic lost their home opener to the Harrisburg City Islanders 2-1 in front of a sold out crowd and are looking to bounce back with a win in front of the home crowd. The Blues are looking to right the ship after being shut out 3-0 against the L.A. Galaxy II last Saturday. Sacramento is also out to avenge their 2-1 loss against the O.C. on April 12th.

Leading Sacramento in points is a three way tie Justin Braun with four (2 goals), Michael Daly (2 goals) and Thomas Stewart (1 goal & 2 assists). The Blues are led by Christopher Cortez (2 goals), Stephen Okai (2 goals), Christopher Santana (2 goals) and Alan Russell (1 goal & 2 assists) with 4 points each. During their last meeting, the Republic aided the Blues by giving up a penalty and a red card leading to two goals. The keys to this game is to keep the pressure upon Orange County by pressing forward, ball control and attacking the goal.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. and the gates will open at 5:30.
