Websites are often given a "face lift", with new design and content to keep things fresh. So when a bike seat company rolls out a new improved website, is it a "butt lift"?

Either way, Huntington Beach, CA based SDG Components just launched a new website as stylish as their iconic bike saddles. The new site is nicely padded with tons of information about their extensive line of saddles, seatposts and accessories designed for road bikes, mountain bikes and cyclocross bikes. There are also handy links to social media sites for SDG sponsored athletes and related bike brands.

Speaking of things new and improved, one of the newest saddles in the SDG ars-e-nal (sorry) is an update to the classic Bel-Air saddle that's been a rider favorite for years. The new Bel-Air 2.0 retains the beloved overall shape of the original, but incorporates a nylon base, lightweight EVA foam and a Honeycomb structured core for the lightest strength-to-weight ratio possible.

Despite the lightweight design, the Bel-Air 2.0 provides ample support and comfort, thanks to SDG's Rear-Rise and Nose Platform design elements, and a full-length channel to eliminate pressure on your 'naughty bits'. SDG saddles are also famous for their strength and durability, and the Bel-Air 2.0 maintains the tradition with options for either Ti-Alloy or solid Titanium rails.

Looks shouldn't matter, but since they do, I recommend pairing the Bel-Air 2.0 with a matching set of the SDG/ODI grips. These are my personal favorite grips. They wear like iron yet get softer and grippier with age. How about a red combo? Smashing! Green? Yes, Please!

So go take a look around the new website, and be sure and check out the other new stuff in their extensive 2014 product collection.

Edge-of-your-seat stuff for sure!
