It is important to receive dental cleanings and exams to prevent gingivitis which is inflammation of the gums. Oral infections, gingivitis and gum disease can become serious if left untreated.

Follow these helpful oral care tips: Get your teeth cleaned twice a year, brush your teeth in the morning and at bedtime, floss daily, brush your tongue, limit the amount of sweets you consume, learn proper cleaning techniques from a dental hygienist and/or dentist.

If you want a beautiful smile, schedule an appointment with a dentist in your area. If you do not have dental insurance contact the nearest Dental School or health department. Some dental offices will accept patients without dental insurance.

Don't wait until you have mouth pain, schedule your dental appointment today. Research shows oral infections can damage the heart. Take care of your entire body: exercise daily, eat healthy, schedule your annual physical exam, eye exam, and mammogram.
