Opus to open Phoenix office, names Pobuda to head it

Minneapolis-based Opus Group announced Wednesday it is opening an office in Phoenix, to be headed by longtime Minnesota commercial real estate figure Lawrence (Larry) Pobuda.

Pobuda will serve as senior vice president and general manager of Opus Development Company LLC in the city, where will pursue new business opportunities across the office, industrial and residential sectors, Opus Holding LLC President and CEO Tim Murnane said.

Pobuda previously worked for Transwestern, Stewart Lawrence Group, United Properties and Trammell Crow Company.

"We see significant growth potential in Phoenix, particularly in the sectors in which we have expertise," Murnane said. "We're committed to establishing a long-term presence in the Phoenix market, and with Larry's tenure and highly-regarded reputation, he is an excellent addition to our team as we launch our presence in this area."
