The hugely successful CBS hit show “How I Met Your Mother” will be starting its eighth season this September but even co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas admit there’s an endpoint for the series. Fortunately, they haven’t named it yet and CBS seems happy to go along for the ride.
Fans have shown some concern over the possibility that season 8 might be the last one for their favorite characters. CBS Entertainment chief Nina Tassler said at a TV critics tour on Sunday that the network is "in early conversations" with the show’s producers regarding a season 9 as reported by Newsday.
So fans will have plenty of time to mull over how Ted Mosby met the mother of his kids and just who she is – and that’s a good thing.
