The Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune are reporting that the Oprah Winfrey show is reaching out to Tiger Woods' people to try to land an exclusive with the disgraced golf great.
A spokesperson from Harpo Productions told the Tribune that Winfrey has asked Woods to be on her show.
"We have reached out to Tiger Woods' representatives, but nothing is confirmed," the spokesperson said.
Woods appeared on Winfrey’s show as a guest with his father in 1998. Earl Woods died in 2006. Tiger Woods appeared on Oprah last in 2001.
Chicago Tribune writer Fred Mitchell co-authored a book with Earl Woods called “Playing Through.” He appeared on the Oprah show in 1998 with the father and son.
Mitchell recalls, “As Winfrey read the affectionate "Letter to my Son" from the book signed ‘Pop,’ Woods broke down in tears.”
The Sun-Times is reporting that Winfrey did not personally call Woods to ask him to appear on her show.
Earlier this month, when the sixth mistress surfaced (we're up to 14 now, click here for complete list), the UK's Mirror newspaper said that Woods is being urged by his advisors to confess on Oprah,
The Mirror's source said: “Everyone around him believes it is the only way he will salvage any respect or even attempt to rebuild his family man image.”

Very good article on a subject that has been highly publicised over the past week, but what can I say about Tiger Woods? Why would he want to cheat on his beautiful wife with all these tarts, who know he was married. Tiger you have messed up kiddo! But thats the 21st Century isn't it?
