According to Celebrity Cafe, Oprah Winfrey hurt her back by lifting a birthday gift she received from Tyler Perry.
It was the former queen of daytime’s 59th birthday on Tuesday, and she posted a picture of the generous gifts she received from friends. Among them are flowers from Perry, which were apparently too heavy for Winfrey to pick up.
On Perry’s Facebook page, he wrote “I FEEL SO BAD,” followed by an explanation.
“I like to send really large flower arrangements to people for whatever occasion,” he wrote. “Well, I sent one to Oprah yesterday for her birthday. She strained her back picking it up. No joke! Feel better Oprah. Happy birthday, sorry." Next year I'm sending her one rose.
On her birthday, Winfrey posted an Instagram picture of herself and longtime partner, Stedman Graham. She tweeted the caption “Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes, enjoying lunch with Stedman. No plans to leave p.j.'s all day.”
