On this year’s ‘Oprah’ show finale, Oprah Winfrey proclaimed that ‘I always wanted to be a teacher and I ended up in the world’s biggest classroom. And this will be the last class on this stage.’ I have to admit that show brought tears to my eyes. Oprah had been a part of my life for 25 years every day Monday through Friday. In a world of change that was one of my constants. My only saving grace was that I had the OWN network. OWN is Oprah’s baby and she planned on making it hers & ours. So far, she’s been true to her word. I was glued to my set watching ‘Master Class’ especially the two-parter that starred Oprah herself. If you haven’t seen it, go to your menu guide right now and dvr a future rerun of that show. It’s a must see & will no doubt inspire. Next up, Oprah plans on continuing her classroom on a slightly different stage than the one we’ve seen her on for 25 years. Next week, she’ll continue to teach all of us on in her new show, ‘Oprah’s Lifeclass’ which will premiere on her new stage atop the OWN network.
