Firsts comes sex then comes love that is what Oprah Winfrey and her network “OWN” are beating on, the success of Love. Is the world ready for a new version of Carrie Bradshaw?

Winfrey is set to launch a new show similar to the smash HBO hit “Sex and The City”. Titled “Love in the City” the show will feature four strong, outgoing, funny, sexy and intelligent African American women. Difference with Winfrey’s new show is two of the ladies are married and two are single but the same issues will come into play with these savvy ladies in the Big Apple.

According to Madamenoire, “Love In The City” is a docu-series starring professionals, Kiyah Wright (a celebrity stylist and the center of the bunch), Bershan Shaw (founder of social networking site URAWARRIOR), Chenoa Maxwell (actress of Have Plenty fame) and Tiffany Jones (founder of the Pink Chose Me Foundation).

Each week the ladies will come together over drinks, dinners and meetings at the gym in the trendy urban cultural city of Harlem New York.

Love in the City will premiere on Saturday April 12 at 10 p.m. on OWN.
