Oprah riggs contest in favor of African American?
That's the #1 trending question on Google Trends -- obviously forced in there by those 4Chan folks who have a penchant for gaming Google Trends -- and apparently need to know that it should read "rigs" instead of what it reads now.
This Oprah contest mess has gotten out of control -- with 4Chan admitting that they rigged votes in favor of Zach Anner to begin with, telling Geekosystem in racist-filled hate speech that they inflated votes for Zach Anner because they liked him, and calling Dr. Phyllis hateful things.
4Chan is known for filling Google Trends list with racist hateful terms like the N-word, planes crashing into buildings a la the 9/11 tragedy, and other crazy things. It's amazing that Google hasn't stopped them yet, but no doubt that is on the horizon.
Generally when 4Chan gets crazy terms into Google Trends list, the Google engineers go to work -- because the trends list doesn't update for hours as a result.
So it seems 4Chan is trying to force the news once again, what with their "Oprah hates the handicapped?" title today, and now their "Oprah riggs (sic) the contest in favor of African American?" madness.
Meanwhile Time has an exclusive interview with Zach Anner via Skype -- and they promise to put up the full YouTube.com video later.
What's really sad is that these two talk show contestants have gotten in the middle of an ugly fight that should've been allowed to just rise with votes and views normally and naturally, without folks trying to always game the system and game Google.
Hopefully the big Mountain View company will figure out how to stop letting sites like 4Chan game them and manipulate the votes -- as well as Oprah's company.
This is no doubt the reason Google Trends list has been cut from 100 entries down to 40 and then down to 10 over the past year.
With gamers gaming the system, Google Trends has turned into a less-valuable tool as of late.
Until they get control over 4Chan, perhaps they'll shut it down altogether.
And maybe Oprah will find a way to honor both Dr. Phyllis and Zach Anner -- since both seem to have strange votes and views due to system rigging.

Gain control over 4chan? Good luck with that, the last attempt at control over 4chan led to half of the population leaving to other sites, where they continued their ways.
Every ones knows that 4chan and reddit set this bullcrap up. You can‘t bullcrap a bullshita. Zach votes were rig after he was not call back after the contest in Dallas. Zach comes home sad because no one from Oprah call him back. Ok then 4chan and riddict get involved with Zach online video. Zach had 4800 votes a Saturday nite not even in the top 100 video and jump to 2mills overnite. Guess who help 4chan and riddit. Then John Myers jumps on the band wagon. Ok a couple of weeks later Zach all over the fake internet news from riddict and 4chan. A week later people were not voting a lot for Zach and his lead he was losing, So Riddit and 4chan put out that the voting were rig and blame Oprah of being prejudice so everyone would come to his aide with a lot of votes. I seen this from the beginning and a lot of people. Zach should be kick out

You admit Dr. Phyllis has a "strange" ammount of views and votes but no one riged her entries on 4chan.
nothing you print changes the facts that the code for Dr. Phyllis's voting button was "different than the others" as confirmed by Geekosystem.
bottom line, is Oprah rigged the votes, got caught and now is looking for a way to distract everyone from it... But, since it's Oprah vs. a guy with cerebral palsy I'm sure you spineless bastards will gladly overlook what Oprah "did" (by which i mean is responsible for, as it's HER poll) and focus on trying to kill any chance of Zach winning. LAME.

I wish people would stop reporting stories when they don't know the facts behind them. First Zach's video went viral shortly after it was posted because it was very funny, and not because of hackers. Second there are numerous time stamped screen captures of Zach's votes decreasing over a period of about four hours. Third is that people hacked into Oprah's to see what was happening and found proof that the scripts that control the voting had been tampered with in favor of Doctor Phyllis. The only reason certain people online engaged in this smear campaign against Oprah was to bring to her attention the wide spread cheating and force her to bring an end to it. I personally do not Believe that Oprah or the people that run the site had a hand in the cheating, but that doesn't change the fact that cheating took place.
Next time do a little research before publishing this tripe. This is the reason the media is in decline.

Ive been following 4chan and noticed that there were users from EBAUMSWORLD on there putting up info that 4chan users thought was going to help but they actually got trolled by ebaum. its sad to see that your breaking rule 1 & 2 but i guess thats what noobs do. if you looked at the coding on Oprahs(who i admire greatly) contest site you would notice that they had an EID for Dr Phillis vote button. There was also a decrees in votes for Zach. I would love for someone who has been given a disability by god to have the opportunity to have their own show..not because he's white but because he deserves it more than all of us. If the person he was competing with was white would we still have this problem? i know that 4chan and ebaum say racist things but what do you expect from such people?

Votes were suppose to be cool, but I was led to believe that all contestants vidoes would be watched. Zach is cool and so is Phylliss others may have come in later I for one. I just hope My video get into some body;s hands, tyler Perry, steven Speilberg or somebody that enjoys "EATING WORDS." I thought both of the rigged voting contestants were cool! If you win sojething by deceit...then you'll have to live it out...Both are good ideas...I hope they stand up for themselves....we all have disabilities and Zach has an awesome way of putting his show into perspective as well as Phyllis!
