Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards® had the audience laughing out loud with the comedic sketches on Sunday night’s after show. The show broadcast live from Hollywood, included a segment of Jimmy Kimmel trying to convince Oprah Winfrey that his ideas for branding the OWN network – were the best in the world.
First Kimmel tries to convince Oprah to take back the gifts that she has bestowed on audience members. Jimmy asks her to take back the cars she gave away, quipping, “You know how much they cried when you gave them that stuff – think how much they’ll cry when you take them back.”
The Jimmy and Oprah Interviewsegment showed the results if Kimmel and Oprah were to interview Jennifer Aniston at the same time. The result is hilarious. Oprah concludes saying,“I think, two hosts asking questions at the same time, that might be too confusing.” Kimmel quickly answers, “What about ‘The View?’ They have eight people asking questions at the same time and that works.”
There were funny lines, and funny scenes: ‘Oprah after Dark’, or ‘Oprah’s Book Club Fight Club’ the ideas kept flowing from Kimmel. This is Oprah as you have never seen her.
