Maybe it's not as much fun having her OWN channel as she thought. Oprah Winfrey is feeling so needy for rating, in fact, that she tweeted her pitiful plea: "Every 1 who can please turn to OWN especially if u have a Nielsen box." Oops.
The Nielsen folks weren't too thrilled with Oprah, because it's against their policy to try to persuade Nielsen folks to shift their viewing. Tweet readers were cranky about it, too, lambasting Ohhhhhprah.
And as if that wasn't enough on the minus side: Oprah's plus size seems to have gone up as well, judging by recent photos. Reality check on reality TV: both Oprah's weight loss success and viewer ratings seem to have fared better when she had her daytime talk show, which often featured weight loss specialists offering help not just for viewers but for Oprah as well. Now there's food for thought....
