'Opposite Worlds:' Future meets past

See also

On Tuesday night a new social experiment/reality competition began on SYFY, it is called “Opposite Worlds”, 6 contestants live in futuristic luxury with all the amenities imaginable, and then, 6 other contestants live in primitive conditions in the open air with nothing except a flint with which to create fire and only large windows separates them both.

The two groups will compete each week and the winning team will decide what living conditions they wish to enjoy for a week. Last night was the first competition and Jesse from the luxurious team knocked Charles so hard that not only did he knock himself off the platform but also broke Charles’ leg. He was vicious in the attack and uncalled for violence, hopefully by having the lowest score in popularity he will be voted out tonight.

The show is intriguing, the premise is such that viewers just have to cheer for the under dogs because they live under such miserable conditions, that it would be callous to not hope they get a win and enjoy the luxury the house provides for it’s inhabitants.

“Opposite Worlds” run on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. EDT on SYFY.
