Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Two Muses Theatre, a non-profit, is now accepting letters of application for a part-time administrative assistant. The part-time administrative staff person will perform a variety of tasks pertaining to business management, theater maintenance, house management, and production management. A salary commensurate with professional theatre experience and general expertise will be paid weekly. Publicist/Group Sales Manager

The publicist/group sales manager will promote Two Muses Theatre and build audience through traditional PR campaigns, social networking and group sales, while strengthening existing and building new corporate, community, and media relationships for Two Muses Theatre. Primary roles of this position are to (1) develop a strategic marketing plan for group sales and (2) plan, direct and track all marketing efforts for group sales (3) bring greater visibility to the brand of Two Muses Theatre and its productions. The successful candidate will possess strong sales, organizational, time management and communication skills. Previous experience with creation and design of marketing support materials, including brochures, ads, flyers and e-communications, is a plus. This job is to be hired on a per production basis with a stipend commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition, sales commissions will be available. Stage Manager and ASM

Two Muses Theatre seeks the following experienced theatre professionals:

Production Stage Manager for “The Current” by Sean Paraventi, directed by Nancy Kammer. Read through on Feb 17 and rehearsals begin Feb 24 with three rehearsals a week until production week. TECH is Saturday, 3/15. Dress rehearsals are 6-10pm, Monday-Thursday, 3/17-3/20. Rehearsals and performances are held in the 130-seat, Two Muses Theatre space inside the West Bloomfield Barnes& Noble, on Orchard Lake just south of Maple. 6800 Orchard Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI. Performances run March 21 through April 13 on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Salary stipend: $300-400 depending on professional theatre experience.

Board Of Directors Openings

Two Muses Theatre, founded in November, 2011 by Diane Hill and Barbie Weisserman, is currently seeking to add Board Members to their already existing, experienced and reliable Founding Board Members.

We seek candidates who are 1.) Passionate about theatre 2.) Enthusiastic about our mission "to provide opportunities for women in theatre, and promote female artists and artisans." and 3.) Self driven, organized and filled with new ideas and energy!

Prospective board members are asked to send a letter of interest, a theatre or business resume, if relevant, and an outline of how you could make Two Muses Theatre become more recognizable and successful in the seasons to come.

All board members are expected to 1.) Chair or participate on a committee. 2.) Attend all fundraisers and 3.) Make every attempt to attend all monthly meetings held at Two Muses Theatre, on the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 am.
