The current position of Operations Lead for HS Space Systems is located in Rockford, IL.
Responsibilities
- Interface with Program, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering organizations to ensure that customer committed hardware and date deliveries are consistently met.
- Frequently interfacing with various customers and will be the sole Operations point of contact for assigned programs.
- The position will require the candidate to coordinate, execution of Manufacturing Process Reviews at HS and Supplier facilities in support of program start up.
- Cold start and sourcing transitions with potential for 5% to 10% travel required.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be a self starter able to operate independently with minimal oversight.
Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Operations or in interfacing with Operations organization on a recurring basis.
- Knowledge of ACE, 6 Sigma and/or Lean is encourged.
- Strong computer skills specifically in using MS Project, and MS Office products.
