Opera for Animals announces next benefit concert and fundraiser

Singing is truly saving in the case of this particular annual event. Carol Sparrow and Randolph Locke, international opera singers and co-founders of Opera for Animals: Singing is Saving (OASIS) will perform with guest artists at their 11th annual concert and fundraiser, Singing and Swinging are Saving. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2013.

The organizers report their next big event on April 13th is really starting to take shape. They are raising funds to benefit local animal welfare groups, and this year's funds raised will also benefit All Children’s Hospital.

The event activities consist of a golf tournament, dinner and concert. Celebrity guests will participate in the golf tournament, and renowned musical artists will be performing classical and popular favorites.

The fundraiser promises the attendees elegant cuisine along with a silent auction, raffle, and special guests to be announced.

On the date of the fundraiser, the golf tournament check-in will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the tournament starting at 1 p.m. The cocktail hour starts at 5 p.m. Dinner and concert will begin at 6 p.m.

The event will take place at the Palm Aire Country Club located at 5601 Country Club Way, Sarasota, FL 34243

The ticket cost is $150 for the premium package (golf, dinner and concert), $65 for golf only and $90 for dinner/concert only.
