Opera auditions for A New Nation

Here is the opportunity that you have waited for. It may not be American Idol but at least it will give you the stage, and opportunity, to share your magnificent, operatic voice.

Benevolent Music is holding open auditions for advanced singers for their upcoming production A New Nation.

Based on the Jacob Cycle in Genesis, five staged performances, with orchestra, will take place in September. "We need 3 soprano, 1 mezzo, 1 contralto, 1 tenor, 2 baritone, 1 bass. Be prepared to sing an aria and/or musical theater piece. "

"Benevolent music is a non-profit organization dedicated to producing music with moral themes...The aesthetic of benevolent music has been developed by Mark Peterson, the composer of A New Nation. It is based upon the beauty of human epistemology and human expressiveness."
