According to ComicBook.com on Oct. 8, the opening sequence to tonight's Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: The Asset" revealed the highly secured scientist by the name of Franklin Hall, played by Ian Hart, being kidnapped. Hall is also known for his character of Graviton in the Marvel comics. That being said, considering this particular scientist was under lock and key, it would stand to reason that the name of the episode would logical.
The sequence basically shows a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent posing as a grizzled truck driver incognito transporting what appears just to be office supplies when all a sudden his allied S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives appear around him as escorts. Suddenly, a mysterious force upends one of the black vehicles and then another.
Finally, the powerful force pics the semi tractor trailer up into the sky and drops it onto the highway. Heavily armed people approach the vehicle and weld their way into where their prized asset is discovered.
It remains to be seen if the Marvel comics villain is of any correlation to the one on the ABC TV series, but for fans it would be curious to know what this character's involvement impacts.
Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: The Asset" airs tonight at 8 p.m. EST.
