Stop by Peaceable Kingdom in Whitehall and meet the sweet and lovable dogs that are waiting to be adopted into loving homes. There are currently twenty two dogs that are being cared for at the shelter or at foster homes. The number of dogs being cared for by PK volunteers at any given month varies, but there are often new arrivals weekly, consequently there is a constant abundance of dogs in need of good homes.
These dogs long to find families who will love and care for them and provide them with a safe loving forever home. The dogs at Peaceable Kingdom are sweet, playful, and affectionate. It doesn’t take much to make these little guys and gals happy; all they need is a caring pet parent who will give them unconditional love and the quality care that they deserve.
Adopting and caring for a dog that has previously gone through neglect, abandonment, or has had to suffer the loss of a previous owner, is a challenging yet noble feat. It is a true blessing to watch your little ones thrive in their new home and to see their personalities shine through. “Rescues” are an amazing breed, their devotion, loyalty, and undying love will never cease to amaze you. They truly change your life in the best possible way.
