Although fall is swiftly approaching, savor summer at Club Passim this week! Hear a few stories about women’s work woes, save a few dollars, take the stage at open mic, and hear some musical storytelling at Club Passim, 47 Palmer Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is conveniently located off the Harvard Square T stop.

For the first time ever and presented by Massmouth, ‘First Person Plural’ is an exploration into true stories of women in the workplace entitled, ‘Never Done.’ The evening is derived from the expression, ‘A women’s work is never done.’

Massmouth co-founder Norah Dooley, Cheryl Hamilton, Devin Bramhall, Cindy Pierce, Carolyn Stearns, and Sue Schmidt take the Club Passim stage to share their workplace adventures on Monday, August 18 at 8 p.m.

On Tuesday, August 19, Club Passim lets the audience take the spotlight with Open Mic with signups starting at 6 p.m.

Audiences will be offered three chances to see a group composed of Milwaukee singer-songwriters Peter Mulvey and Jeffrey Foucault as well as Boston singer-songwriter and Jeffrey’s wife, Kris Delmhorst. Their album is called ‘Redbird’ and they will fill the room with stories and off-the-cuff performances throughout the evening! See them perform on Wednesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 21, and Friday, August 22 at 8 p.m.

Local singer-songwriter Britt Connors has performed all over Boston and she is celebrating her new CD release, ‘Bourbon Renewal.’ She will perform for a sold out crowd at Club Passim on Saturday, August 23 at 8 p.m.

With an acclaimed debut CD ‘The Waiting Sky,’ roots singer-songwriter Roger Street Friedman has a bright, acoustic sound and his reflective lyrics tell a moving story. New York based singer-songwriter Sherman Ewing will share his unique, punk-influenced sound from his latest CD, ‘Single Room Saloon’ on Sunday, August 24 at 8 p.m.
