Open house weekend offers easy chance to check out homes April 10-11

Potential home buyers and just nose-y neighbors will want to mark the calendar and plan ahead for a nationwide "Open House" promotional event. Many Georgia real estate associations are encouraging members to participate in the unique event scheduled for the weekend of April 10 and 11, 2010.

The "get-the-word-out" campaign is aimed at generating some buzz among potential home buyers and coordinating marketing efforts across the industry. Brokers and agents are encouraged to promote the event on their advertising and websites, as well as, hosting open houses at listings they select on this weekend.

The Open House campaign aims to enable potential home buyers with an easy, no stress way to check out homes for sale in their market. Agents will also be on hand to answer questions and offer advice.

Georgia Association of Realtors, Cobb Association of Realtors and the Atlanta Board of Realtors are among the supporters of the national event.
