Bergen County Players (BCP) opens its doors for its 2nd annual theater Open House on Saturday, May 10, 2014
at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.

Free and open to the public, this special Spring event runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with workshops in various aspects of theater, backstage tours, information tables, family events, free raffles, an introduction to the new 2014-2015 season, a Showcase of our upcoming musical comedy "Ruthless!" and complimentary food. The Open House will have something for everyone: live performances, demonstrations, kids' activities, master classes and much more.

Tours leave every hour on the half hour. Theater staff will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions about Bergen County Players and its upcoming 2014-15 season of entertainment.

According to Bergen County Players' Vice President of Membership Jennifer Cottone, "We are excited to hold our 2nd annual Open House and open our doors to the people of Oradell and surrounding areas to see this wonderful theater right in their own backyard. The day will be very festive and fun, our way of saying 'thank you' for the warm welcome and overwhelming support we have received over the years."

The Bergen County Players has grown tremendously from its roots as a small community theater when it was founded in 1932; today, nearly 300 volunteer members, working on and off stage, make possible the nine productions presented each season. The remaining mainstage season includes the musical comedy "Ruthless!" (May 3rd – June 1st). The remaining Second Stage production is a live radio show of "My Favorite Wife" (June 7th – 8th).
