Open Gym Women's Basketball at Center on Halsted

There's more ways to stay in shape besides exercising at a crowded health club. Open Gym Women's Basketball at Center on Halsted is a great way to get cardiovascular exercise, tone up, meet new women and have fun too. When can you get your game on? The event is held the first and third Fridays of every month.

Meet at Center on Halsted this Friday at 6 PM. You must be 18 years or older. The event is not free, but it is inexpensive to participate. You pay just $5 per night, or you can save money with a $20 monthly pass. Sign-in and purchase your pass at the first floor receptionist desk.

"Simply playing basketball can be a great cardio workout while having fun at the same time! Just make sure while you’re playing, that you’re playing intensely, that you're moving around fast and getting your heart rate up high. I've also noticed that if you keep that in mind (playing intensely while playing) can make you a GREAT basketball player out of yourself while getting a GREAT workout at the same time!"

Playing team sports is SO much more fun than a lonely workout.
