Adam Sandler will play dual roles as twin brother and sister in his upcoming Columbia Pictures romantic comedy "Jack and Jill." The production is currently hiring extras in Los Angeles and will also be holding an open casting call in Fort Lauderdale, Florida seeking SAG and Non-Union people all ages and types.
The film also stars Katie Holmes as Sandler's wife. The role marks Holmes' first studio film since 2005’s “Batman Begins.” Dana Carvey, Regis Philbin, and Al Pacino all have cameos in the movie.
Columbia Pictures is financing and Sony Pictures Entertainment will be distributing the film. Todd Garner's Broken Road Productions is teaming with Sandler's Happy Madison Productions to share the production end of the project.
Dennis Dugan will direct Jack and Jill. Dugan has directed such films as Parenthood, Happy Gilmore, Beverly Hills Ninja, Grown Ups, and countless other films and television productions.
