The Kansas City Repertory Theatre will be holding open auditions for actors ages 10-17 for their production of A Christmas Carol.

Auditions are Sunday September 18th and Monday September 19th.

Auditions September 18th are being held from 10am-2pm at the Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts, in the auditorium located at 4747 Flora Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64110.

Auditions September 19th are being held 4:30pm-7:30pm at Kansas City Young Audiences Community School of the Arts on the campus of St. Teresa's Academy, Music and Arts Building, 5601 Wyandotte, Kasas City, MO 64113

You must have an apointment to audition.

To schedule an audition please call Sarah Cooper at 816-235-6087, Tuesday-Friday between 10 am-4 pm.

Actors are asked to prepare a short monolouge, story or joke to present. The peice can be memorized or read and should be about one minute in length. Singers are asked to prepare 16 bars of music that best displays their range. An accompanist will be provided. Actors are also asked to be prepared to sing "Silent Night." Actors may also be asked to do cold readings from the script.

You will be auditioning for Kyle Hatley, Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s Associate Artistic Director, who will direct A Christmas Carol.
