The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, will have one final open tryout session for the 2013-14 season Saturday, Sept. 28.
The tryout, open to players 18 and older, will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Upland Sports Arena, the official training facility of the Ontario Fury. The tryout will be the final opportunity for players to impress the Fury coaching staff before the opening of the inaugural training camp, which will be Oct. 1.
“We have been impressed with the level of talent who have participated in our previous tryout sessions,” said team president and head coach Bernie Lilavois. “We want to take one last look at some of the previous players, and give any other players that may have missed out on our other sessions a chance to impress our coaching staff.”
Athletes may preregister for the tryout session for $25 online at ontariofury.com. Players may register on the day of the event for $40.
The Ontario Fury will open its inaugural training camp Oct. 1 with daily practice sessions at the Upland Sports Arena. The practices will be open to the public.
