Only active, fit and healthy stars win Oscars

Maybe you've heard Howard Stern blast Precious' star Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe, saying she will never work again because she's "enormous".

The latest news, an acai weight loss supplement company tells Sidibe, in so many words, she didn't win the Oscar because she's fat.  So the company wants to offer her a year's supply of their product if she endorses it.

Although other details of the offer were not mentioned in this article, consider the following:

  • Though studies are ongoing, acai berries have no known health benefit that’s any different than that of fruits like cranberry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, or blueberry.
  • There is STILL no such thing as a "magic pill".
  • Diet and exercise are the keys to fat loss.  Yes, you must work hard for it.
  • If weight loss was so easy, no one would be overweight and certainly not obese.

As for Sidibe, her mother states, Sidibe does want to lose weight.

Until then, Sidibe's confidence will take her a long way.
