Only 38% of the American people approve of healthcare but Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer (NY) says that failure is not an option. The gap of Democrats who approve of the legislation has widened since Saturday with questions about abortion funding, taxes, and the government selling health insurance and competing with private insurance.. One Democrat, Sen. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas said today that she could not vote for a "government funded, government run plan." She said there are already had vehicles in place in her state to help the uninsured.
The arrogance and irony is that Democrats will try and pull all kinds of stunts like paying their fellow Dems with our tax money. They don't care that there is only a 38% approval rating. The masses don't know as much as they do. They know what is best.
The government should not be in the business of healthcare or any business for that matter. Polticians and bureaucrats don't are not doctors or scientists. They cannot even manage the deficit let alone America's health.
