Only 3 days left to apply for your 2014 Minnesota spring turkey license

Do these freezing cold temperatures outside have you dreaming of spring? Are you dreaming of sitting in your warm blind and calling in that big turkey? I hope you applied for your 2014 spring turkey license by now. Because if you have not, you only have three days left to apply for the lottery! The deadline to apply for all applicants 18 or older that wish to hunt spring seasons A-C is Friday, January 10, 2014. Surplus licenses will be available over the counter mid March for seasons D-H. You do not need to apply for seasons D-H. There are three ways you can apply for your Minnesota spring turkey license:

  1. At any electronic licensing agent locations across the state
  2. Over the phone (1-888-665-4236)
  3. Online at www.mndnr.gov

There will be a non-refundable application fee of $5.00 for those who apply at an ELS location. Also, an additional convenience fee will be charged for applicants who use the internet or telephone.For more details and all other information covering the 2014 Minnesota turkey seasons, please visit the Minnesota DNR webpage.
