Summer Theatre Camp, a partnership between the Broward Center and The Performance Project School of Arts will be coming back to Broward in 2012, and it’s better than ever with ALL NEW SHOWS! This is a fantastic opportunity to for kids or young adults to develop their musical theater, dance, voice and acting skills, and make friends and memories to last a lifetime.

There are three age groups and two sessions to choose from. Each exciting session culminates with a live performance on stage! And this year the Center is introducing a new advanced level program for ages 13-18, which will go on tour.

There are three convenient locations to choose from:
BROWARD CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS
AVENTURA ARTS & CULTURAL CENTER
OLD DAVIE SCHOOL - SUMMER CAMP WEST

The available sessions are:

Acting Up - Beginner Level Program [Ages 6 – 9]
Session 1 Performance: Broadway Revue
Session 2 Performance: Free to Be...You and Me

Broadway Bound - Intermediate Level Program [Ages 10 - 13]
Session 1 Performance: Once On This Island Jr.
Session 2 Performance: Peter Pan

Company Group - Intermediate Level Program [Ages 13 - 18]
Session 1 Performance: Rent (School Edition)
Session 2 Performance: A Chorus Line

Young Professionals (YP) NEW! Touring Group - Advanced Level Program [Ages 13 - 18]
Session 1 Performance: Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella
