Kids across America who missed out on the opportunity now have another shot at becoming the next big Disney child star.
The film's casting directors are looking for a 10 to 12 year old boy with olive skin and an ethnic look to fill the role of "Mowgli" whose character is described as “soulful, engaging, bright and athletic". He has a noble and courageous spirit, which give us glimpses of the true hero he will become.”
According it IMDB, Jon Favreau will be producing and directing the film for Disney Studios. The film also lists Scarlett Johansson and Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong as being part of the cast.
