What: ONExia represents Rethink Robotics Baxter in the Mid Atlantic Region. ONExia will be hosting a Baxter Meet and Greet. During these sessions personnel from ONExia and Rethink Robotics will be present to answer questions as well as demonstrate the features of Baxter.
Who: Open to the general public especially vendors from aerospace, medical products, chemicals, printing, metal and plastic molding, textiles, electrical connectors and food industry.
Are you interested in Baxter end effectors? If so click here to rsvp. Baxter encourages vendors to attend for feedback and support. How does Baxter Grip? Rethink Robotics offers two interchangeable end-effectors to grip a wide range of objects.
- Electric Parallel Gripper ~ Various interchangeable fingers and finger tips are supplied to pick up from outside or inside an object.
- Vacuum Cup Grippers ~ Used to pick hard to grasp objects, mainly those that are smooth, non-porus or relatively flat. Three different size cups are included.
