OneRepublic performs ‘Counting Stars’ on People’s Choice Awards

OneRepublic fans were excited to see the band performing on Wednesday night on the "People’s Choice Awards." Highlighted as one of the many entertainers for the annual award show, the viewers at home got to hear "Counting Stars." The band was also nominated for a "People's Choice Awards" in the category of Favorite Group.

The arrangement of the song at the "People’s Choice Awards" got the attention of the fans. Sounding slightly different than what is heard on the studio album, it was grabbing and a good choice for the fans listening live.

“The @ peopleschoice awards are starting right now. Tune in to @cbs & watch our performance for the fans!” tweeted OneRepublic from their official Twitter account on Wednesday. The band wanted the fans to see them perform live across the country.

Throughout the 40-year history of the "People's Choice Awards," beginning with Cher's presentation of the very first award to "All In The Family" in 1975, some of Hollywood's most popular actors, musicians, movies and television shows have been named the People's Choice by the fans.
