One Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent has died after a lone gunman opened fire creating havoc in a Los Angeles terminal earlier today. The FBI has identified 23 year old Paul Anthony Ciancia of Los Angeles.
Earlier today, about 12:20 EDT (9:20 a.m. in LA), Ciancia sought out TSA agents and fired upon them using a semi automatic weapon. Security responded. Ciancia was wounded in the exchange and is now in police custody. The shootings occurred in Terminal 3 of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Ciancia is from New Jersey. According to Manta.com, there is an auto body shop in Pennsville, NJ owned by a Paul Ciancia. However the company was started in 1988. His parents and two siblings still reside in Pennsville.
